Librarian Panel: Navigating the AI Frontier in Research & Learning
In this panel discussion, librarians from Syracuse University, Nova Southeastern University and McMaster University Health Sciences Library will share their experiences supporting the assessment and adoption of GenAI tools for researchers to ensure they add the most value to the research process.
Attendees will learn from panelist experiences related to:
- developing criteria for evaluating new tools,
- participating in product development user groups,
- supporting researchers to responsibly adopt these tools
Attendees come away with a better understanding of the GenAI landscape, including key considerations when evaluating GenAI tools, and discover new areas of information literacy instruction that could be implemented at their institutions.
The session will also highlight the latest advancements in AI-powered research assistants introduced by Clarivate, such as the Web of Science Research Assistant. Join us to learn from early experiences with Clarivate Academic AI and discuss the next wave of AI agents poised to enhance research and learning workstreams.
