Jeff is the Bibliometrics Librarian at McMaster University. He has over two decades of experience in this field, having worked at the National Research Council for a decade as an Information Scientist, and then in a Germany at a research institute. He was previously the Bibliometrics Librarian at the University of Waterloo. He is a co-organizer of the annual BRIC (Bibliometrics and Research Impact Community) conference and has published papers on the use of information science techniques such as Linked-Literature Analysis and Main Path Analysis. He aims to apply information science techniques to identify patterns in the data that tell a story about research.
