Universiti Malaya Strategy in building high impact research culture: From Trial to Triumph

One of the key findings from our analyses reported in the Clarivate and Universiti Malaya joint report ‘The influence of strategic programmes on Universiti Malaya’s research and innovation footprint,’ is the emergence of a new culture of research excellence from the High Impact Research(HIR) program, and this positive phenomenon continues well after the post-HIR period. Our panelists will share their personal journey and experiences in establishing, growing, and strengthening their research collaboration network, reaping the fruits of their successes, doing what they love to do. |
We will be covering the following topics:
-
Our panelists will reflect on their experiences with the HIR programme and share their personal journey doing what they love and becoming highly cited and award-winning researchers.
-
Beyond sharing tips for establishing effective research collaboration, the panel will discuss the importance of systematic talent management approach to attracting and retaining the best students and researchers in building high impact research culture.
-
Role of Mentor in building and sustaining the culture of research excellence.
Our talented speakers cover research, innovation and intellectual property
