Dr Martin Szomszor is Director at the Institute for Scientific Information. He holds a BSc and PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Southampton and has extensive experience in data analysis, knowledge engineering and natural language processing. For more than 10 years, Martin has worked with a variety of organizations to help them gain a better understanding of how the research system is working using data-driven approaches. He was named a 2015 top-50 UK Information Age data leader for his work in creating the REF2014 impact case studies database for the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), and in his previous role as Chief Data Scientist at Digital Science, he created the Global Research identifier Database (GRID). Between 2009-11, Martin was Deputy Head of Centre at the City eHealth Research Centre where he led research on the use of social media for epidemic intelligence and created an epidemiology information sharing platform for the European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC). . Dr Jon Holm is a special adviser at the Research Council of Norway (RCN). He is trained as a mathematician and scholar of literature and has extensive experience in research administration and management. Ian began his career in research in the UK and USA exploring the molecular biology and genetics of cellular growth in plant cells where he also became involved in several publication and media initiatives. On returning to the UK, Ian worked initially for a leading society journal and then moved to Blackwell Publishing to hold a series of production and technology roles. Ian joined ScholarOne in 2003, which was acquired by Thomson in 2006. Ian has held several roles at Thomson, latterly Clarivate, and now works as part of the InCites product management team. Dr. Domingo Docampo joined the faculty at the Universidade de Vigo, Spain, as a Professor in 1992. He has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, is a Coauthor of 80 reviewed papers and conference papers as well as a PI in six international ICT research projects. Domingo is also a member of approximately 15 international conference organizing and scientific committees. Miguel Garcia is a Product Director at Clarivate, looking after the Web of Science products focusing on research assessment and funding such as InCites, the Journal Citation Reports and Converis. Over the last 5 years at Clarivate, he has also been working with customers on demonstrating and optimizing the usage of research data and APIs as well as all the products in the Web of Science portfolio.
