The power of
a unified solution

Libraries are always looking for ways to continuously deepen the value they offer.

Librarians play a key role in delivering course resources efficiently and supporting academic staff in the creation and revision of course resource lists. The unification of Alma with Rialto and Leganto puts power in the hands of librarians and enables a more seamless communication—not just among library staff, but with faculty members as well.

“As a one-stop shop with a single point of entry for library collection services, Leganto saves time. Academic staff members no longer have to send multiple emails and complete a variety of forms to request teaching materials.”
Angela Laurins, Library Learning Services Manager, University of Edinburgh library
"Rialto has been a great time saver by automating many of these processes and minimizing the number of keystrokes they require."
Elize Rowan, Content Acquisition & Access Manager

Bridging the gap between the library and the classroom

Libraries using Leganto with Rialto can search directly from information on purchase requests created through the Leganto reading list and course information displayed alongside search results to help determine best format & quantities.

Purchase requests enable librarians using Alma – or instructors using Leganto – to ask for the purchase of a resource. The request is then automatically sent for review by acquisition. Rialto displays the essential information from the request for a quick review while reviewing offers in the marketplace.
