Ayman manages the Academic and Governments Consultancy Team in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. He has more than 12 years of experience in academia, higher education, the R&D industry and academia cross collaborations, university rankings, and research strategic planning inside universities and research centers. Specifically, Ayman has been leading a team delivering the following:
 
  • Working with universities, research centers and non-academic R&D entities to optimize the research processes, methodologies, and impact
  • Devising approaches for universities to strategize their approaches to various ranking systems (Shanghai, THE, U.S. News, QS, etc.) through their research profiles
  • Facilitator of university-level workshops targeting researchers and key decision makers inside the research entities
  • Writing reports to benchmark research portfolio of countries and universities

Being a researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Quantum Optics in Germany, Ayman have a notable experience in quantum optics, ultrafast laser systems and using solid state spectroscopic methods in addition to muon-spin rotation measurements
