Director of Center of Excellence in Fungal Research at Mae Fah Luang University where he is now in his 12th year and has supervised more than 50 PhD and MSc students. Emeritus Prof. Dr. Hyde is a mycologist with expertise in basic and applied mycology. He has been a Web of Science highly cited scientist for 5 consecutive years. The main focus of his work is the exploitation of microfungi and mushrooms.
He has more than 100 graduated students many of which are now Professors in their own right and has published more than 1000 SCI publications. He is an editor in several leading mycology journals and has secured many prestigious national and international grants.

Dr. Antonio Roberto Gomes de Farias earned his Ph.D. in Doctor of Science from the Rural Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil in 2020 with a year at the Louisiana State University, United States (2018-2019).
He has received multiple honours and awards including Ph.D. Scholarship of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (2016-2020) and has published 9 research articles related to his study in agronomy, biology, microbiology, plant pathology, molecular biology, microorganism genetics, bacteriology, virology, genomics and bioinformatics.

Dr. Naritsada Thongklang is a lecturer and researcher at MFLU. She also serves in different capacities in MFLU including head of administrative and applied research and Ph.D. curriculum committee, Biological Science.
As a researcher, she has gained multiple scholarships and awards notably the Royal Golden Jubilee Ph.D. program for Ph.D. (RGJ), The Thailand research fund, Franco Thai scholarship program (2011-2012) and DAAD scholarship program (2012-2013).
During her career, she not only conducted many workshops and seminars but has published at least 28 research papers related to her broad expertise in mushroom science, mushroom biotechnology, mycology and biology.

Dr. Ruvishika S. Jayawardena is a lecturer and researcher at MFLU. She earned her PhD in Bioscience from MFLU in 2017 and has since gained several recognitions for her work including Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher for 3 consecutive years between 2018 until 2020.
She has published more than 140 research articles, member of the editorial board in several journals and received 2 grants including one issued by the National Research Council of Thailand.
Besides lecturing, she is very active in developing her own study of fungal disease on mushrooms, Colletotrichum species of Thailand and their biocontrol.
